Iron Deficiency Day (November 26)

It's Iron deficiency day today so I've decided to share some basic info about IRON!  🤔 IRON? Can eat one ah? 🤔 What is Iron? Iron is an essential mineral that helps to transport oxygen throughout the body.  Iron is an important component of  hemoglobin , the substance in red  blood cells  that carries oxygen from your  lungs  to transport it throughout your body.  If you don't have enough iron, your body can't make enough healthy red  blood cells.  Insufficient healthy red blood cells will cause insufficient oxygen in the body which then cause fatigued.  It can also affect everything from brain  function to immune system. If you're  pregnant , severe iron deficiency may increase your baby's risk of being born too early, or smaller than normal. Where do I get Iron? Dried beans and dark green leafy vegetables are especially good sources of iron . Iron absorption is increased markedly by eating foods containing Vitamin C along with foods containing

Vegetarian Diet in Healthy Way

Vegetarian diet has become a leading trend in recent years, it could be due to religion beliefs, health issues, environmental awareness or simply not to kill. Real Food @ 1 Mont Kiara

Lets kick start my first food blog with Real Food @ 1 Mont Kiara !! The moment when I plan to feature healthy vegetarian food dining places, Real Food is the first one which hits my mind. Real Food started out in Singapore, soon then they'd extend their concept in Penang Straits Quay and 1 Mont Kiara Mall, aiming to serve health conscious group of consumers by  making foods with only fresh and ‘recognisable’ ingredients.   Real Food is not just simply a dining place. With their pleasant ambience, this place is actually ideal for couple dating, high tea gathering or private discussion.  Real Food offers a wide variety of food options, from western to asian cuisine, from breakfast set to main dish to dessert, from tea to coffee to dairy free beverages, so get prepared for the dilemma! I've had 2 main dishes, 1 dessert and 1 tea set. Organic Fried Vermicelli (wheat & gluten free/soy) - RM18.02 + free range egg - RM3.00 This is absolut

About SAM

SAM, derived from my full name of Samantha. I was formerly a certified Nutritionist whom attended various public speaking, radio interview, managed wellness program for obese/overweight individuals and also in collaboration with corporate organization to enhance employees' performance and images. Also, I was used to provide health advice and consultation to clients with different needs. Soon then I've came across an opportunity to pursue my dream to start up a pets hotel thus I had to give up my full time Nutritionist job. After running my pets hotel business for almost 1 year, I found myself missing my job as a Nutritionist but at the same time  ❤ my current job too (yeah I'm greedy), and a sudden thought strikes me that I can eventually become a part time Nutritionist blogger!! And then it motivates me to create this blog and everything later on! Personally, I'm not fancy of obsessively clean eating or counting calories (I love chocolates and pasta 😂) . My philo
