City Garden Veggie Cafe @ Kepong

City Garden Veggie Cafe located in Taman Usahawan, Kepong (shop lots opposite AEON Kepong).

They serve a wide variety of menu selection, including local and western delicacies, snacks, and even steamboat set.

This is not the first time I dine in City Garden Veggie Cafe. I would drop by here to have lunch/dinner almost all the time when I go to Kepong. I personally think this is one of the best (in term of foods and environment) and affordable vegetarian cafe in Kepong.

Their specialty is the '2 TASTE IN A BOWL'. In case you're having dilemma on whether to order curry noodle or tomyam noodle, opt for this so you could have both together😍

Their western burgers are also worth recommending, each of them were distinctive and you'll wish to order all of them👍

Soup Noodles with Dried Noodles (RM10.90)

Both of them taste just okay, nothing outstanding😅
Among all 2 TASTE IN A BOWL, I would rather recommend the 'Curry Noodles with Tomyam Noodles' and 'Asam Laksa with Green Curry Noodles'👍

Charcoal Hamburger (RM8.70)

Charcoal bun + patty (probably made from starch) + generous amount of lettuce, tomato, cucumber.
The portion is just nice enough for one to feel satisfy😋

Veggie KFC (RM14.20)

This is the vegetarian version of KFC, mimic the taste and texture of the fried chicken by replacing drumstick with king oyster mushroom.
The outcome was certainly different from the actual KFC, but this was really a cute creation😂

Fruit Tea (RM16.90)

This is a must-order drink each time I'm here.
If you are a fan of passion fruit, you'll get addicted to this fruit tea. The fragrance of passion fruit was simply fascinating🤤🤤🤤

They also serve alcohol free malts beer here but I'm not sure how it tastes. I'm not against alcohol anyway😂

Frozen lion's mane mushroom (猴头菇) can be found here too. And the price is reasonable too!

Next time I'm going to try out their steamboat set and will definitely review about it😙

  2. Dear brother and sister,

I am Myanmar who working in Malaysia more than 10 years and I would like to explain about SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST ASSOCIATION. Therefore, recently I stayed at Sasanarakkha Buddhist Sanctuary (SBS), Taiping, Perak. I am very close with Ven. U Nandiya Maha Thero.

My monk Ven. U Nandiya is very good heart and compassion to everyone in the world, also I heard when he stayed at Kuala Lumpur Buddhist Temple, he lend donation money to President of Temple(Datuk Yip Kum Fook, MCA Gombak) with amount RM20,000.00 only and he said that money belong to Myanmar society in Malaysia.

On the other hand, my monk said, also many things happened when he stayed there because committees always disturbing, I am very sadly about that matter, why committees are very poor and crooks. Others Temple, people come to Temple to respected Buddha and Monks, also give red packet to monks. Why this Temple, monks must give money to committees, this is opposite.

If anyone receive or read this message, please inform to DATUK YIP KUM FOOK to return that amount to my monk as soon as possible.

    Tempat hubungan rahib saya:

  5. YIP KUM FOOK (MCA GOMBAK) JANGAN ROSAK PERATURAN BUDDHA

Kepada Pengurusi Samnak Sambodhi (Yip Kum Fook, MCA Gombak) dan Setia-Usaha Yap Leaong Lan(Peggy Yap)

Orang awam tempatan menyoal tentang ingin menjadi Ahli PERSATUAN BUDDHIST SAMNAK SAMBODHI, No: 19 Jalan 38 Taman Desa Jaya, Kepong 52100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, tetapi dengan sukacitanya mereka bukan orang parti MCA semua di tolak. Mengapa?

    Sekian Terima Kasih

  6. To all Buddhist devotees ...

YIP KUM FOOK(LAWYER) drove the monks out of the temple or SAMNAK SAMBODHI, Desa Jaya, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

he used gangsters to drive the monks away and also called the police to harass the monks in the temple and YIP KUM FOOK(LAWYER) disrespected the Buddha and the monks

Ba Xian Vegetarian Court @ Kepong

I've seen many people recommending this vegetarian court in Kepong, the pictures looked so tempting so I decided to give it a try. The food court located in a remote area from Kepong town.  But you'll find it pretty 'happening' once you reach there, there is live concert everyday in the centre of the court. It's a good place for chit-chat and supper especially after a long day at work. Ba Xian Vegetarian Court is located in a corner of the Sun City Food Court. It's very easy to find by the big red banner. Fish head meehun (S) - RM7.00 I ordered the smallest size but the portion is even large enough for 2 pax. The soup is not too salty nor milky, paired with some tofu, chinese cabbage, vegetarian fish (fu chok) and mihun, it makes up an ideal light dinner! Vegetarian Mongolian Chicken Chop - RM12.80 This is somehow disappointing. I thought the chicken chop would've made from beancurd or mushroom, in fact I ca

There's a cozy and relaxing little corner in the bustling city- Klang.  PuRe Space is located in one of the residential area in Klang, though it's quite outskirt but it is growing in popularity, you can easily access to the place via Waze. 朴乐 in defined as simple and fun. I begin to get to know this place in Facebook and the name of the place impressed me a lot, it sounds so pleasant😇 PuRe Space comprise of PuRe taste kitchen and lodging inn, where people can also host event here like wedding, birthday party, workshops, etc. This is the compilation of events throughout January. It was actually a corner house with plenty of parking space. I was deeply in love with the interior design to the extent once I step into the place I start photographing everywhere. I'm not being exaggerating, but every corner in PuRe Space was simply photogenic!😍 They are selling some hand made merchandise, books, calendars, mainly to promote Chinese culture.
